Elite Blog Academy Review: What They Don’t Tell You
Hello, and welcome to my review of Elite Blog Academy.
First, let me just say, “good job!” on doing some research and reading before jumping into a new program that looks good on the surface, and hoping it will work out for you.
That’s how you avoid scams and learn the legitimate program to make real money online.
I won’t waste your time. The simple truth is, I know you’ve probably already done a lot of reading so why would you listen to me?
I am not an affiliate of Elite Blog Academy.
So, what I want you to know is that if you do a google search for EBA Reviews, you’ll find that almost all of them are written by EBA Affiliates that are making money by selling EBA Products.
I’m not saying that all of those other EBA Reviews aren’t honest or unbiased but they’re just not telling you the whole truth. They’re leaving a few important things out. I’m .going to let you know the things that most EBA affiliates are leaving out
Elite Blog Academy Review Summary
Product Name: Elite Blog Academy (EBA) 3.0
Founder: Ruth Soukup, Originally launched in 2014
Product Type: Blogging Course
Price: $897
Rating: 60/100
Recommended: Not really
Best For: Experienced Bloggers
Summary: Elite Blog Academy is a decent course for intermediate bloggers. It can take them to the next level of blogging but it’s a very expensive product and most newbies can’t fork over that much dough on an uncertain product
I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners because in my opinion they would need more one on one help than would be offered with this course.
In my opinion, it is an overpriced product and There’s only 5 days in the whole year that you can apply. If you miss those 5 days, you would have to wait another whole year. I would not wait.
If you are wanting to start an online business there’s no need for waiting. You can start today with my #1 recommended product and you’ll get the most in depth help and support you could ever want. Why wait! You could be making money 6 months to a year.
What is Elite Blog Academy
Elite Blog Academy, is a blogging course that helps bloggers build successful and profitable blogs that they can turn into real businesses.
It was launched in 2014 by Ruth Soukup and has been updated several times since launching.
It’s a 12 step, 36 assignment course that claims you will have a successful blog up and running and earning money very quickly.
The thing is you still have to purchase web hosting and purchase your domain and other up sells even after paying almost $900.00 for the course. That’s just unsettling to me.
My #1 recommended program is Wealthy Affiliate and the reason is the training is endless. there is so much training for you to learn anything you might want to know about blogging or affiliate marketing. And then the hosting is free as well as SSL (site security).
Also, a big plus is you have a community of thousands upon thousands of fellow members that are willing and able to help you any time, 24/7 that you run into a bump in the road.
One thing I do agree with Elite Blog Academy about is that…
There’s not a shortage of information related to starting a successful online blog, the problem is, there’s too much information.
While it’s true that EBA has consolidated most of the essential information into a step by step course, the truth is you could find pretty much all of the same information by searching online.
Sure, it would take some time and effort to find all the information but at a cost of $897 to join EBA, I think it would be worth the effort to find it for free. You can do that here.
Reasons I don’t recommend Elite Blog Academy
- Too expensive at $897.00
- Only accepts applicants for 5 days out of the year (limited availability)
- Very limited tech support (even professional bloggers have technical issues and need help)
- confusing, they say enrollment is closed yet they have a sales page that invites you to join
- Refund policy is really a “no refunds” policy in that it’s just to difficult for someone to figure it all out
The good things about EBA are
- Once you join, you’re in for life (it’s a lifetime membership)
- The step-by-step training is easy to comprehend and not overwhelming
- You can access their private FB Group and get some minor help and also network with other members
- The training serves different learning preferences such as video tutorials with transcripts, downloadable workbooks, Q&A videos and assignments.
Ruth has been a successful Blogger for many years now and is now helping many other bloggers achieve success online The good thing is that this product was created by a very knowledgeable blogger who knows how to lead others to online success and it is definitely not a scam.
I think her courses are well presented and easy to grasp without being overwhelming. I also like that when the courses or anything on EBA is updated, you have access to all the updates as a lifetime member.
EBA has many success stories that show you can really make money with your blog using their course and training.
My thoughts are that a professional would not even need the blog, and if you are a beginner I don’t think the course is for you because there is no training or support on how to set up your website for your blog.
Also, after you’ve already spent $897.00 you still have to buy your domain and then you also have to pay for web hosting every month which could be pretty pricey over a year.
I just know that there is another program out there that has way more training, lots of free tools such as a keyword research tool, Site Security, web hosting, 24/7 site support and so much more for the low price of less than $50.00 a month
It also has a free starter membership and you are in control. If you decide you don’t like it you can stop it anytime by just clicking one button. The Program is Wealthy Affiliate. Check it out for free.
