Most themes now come mobile responsive so be sure to check that yours is too. If your site isn’t mobile friendly you’ll quickly lose your audience.

Of course Google algorithms are constantly changing so it’s hard to know at any given moment what will work and what won’t work. You just have to keep your eye on how your site/pages/posts are ranking and make changes accordingly.
