Okay! Until you’ve done it yourself, there’s no way you’re going to believe just how easy it is.  Some have related it to being similar to a feat of running a 4 minute mile but in this walk-through on this post I’ll show you how easy it really is, plus I’m also going to provide you with a walk-through video.

First, What is WordPress and Why Choose it?

Here’s my short story about my journey that led me to building my first website….About 12 years ago.  Back then building a website was almost unheard of unless you were a professional web developer.  It was all coded and so technical that you almost needed to be a programmer to even get a crappy site up and running but I was determined and I built a few sites from code although they were the height of crappiness.  (that was when I was very young and thought I could do anything)

And then there was WordPress:  WordPress is an open-source framework that has a community of millions of people, and 10,000’s of developers.  It is THE most popular and powerful framework for building websites but it does come with a bit of a learning curve.  WordPress still requires hosting, FTP, a database and some technical skills to install it.

It is the best and most favored platform but it can still be a little difficult to get a website up and running, even for the most technically skilled marketers, and that’s where I come in.
